None. Because I am not a movie fan, I usually do not watch them, so I do not get excited for the launch of movies or series. Is not that I never watch, because I do, is just that is not so often. It is probably because I think that I am wasting a lot of time that I could use for something more productive than just seat, eat and watch, or just because I am not the type of people that like it. However, I can get excited for a movie; if I see a movie trailer that seems cool, interesting or romantic I will want to watch it, but most likely I will stay in the “want” because I will not make any effort to get to do it, but if the opportunity comes of course I would watch it.

  2. As a big fan of the film industry and of different pop culture events, I waited the most for some super heroes and remakes in the industry. I expected great things from X-Men Apocalypse, for a Disney classic "Finding Dory" and for Suicide Squad. I expected the remake of Ghostbusters and for Ben Hur, which I haven't seen yet. I can tell you that I had two great experiences with Suicide Squad and Ghostbusters. One of the best experiences in one of the movies I watched this summer, which it was Ghostbuster, happned in a 4DX room. When you get in, you feel somehow weird when you seat on a chair that has seatbelts on it. It slightly moves during commercials and some of your popcorn falls out of your bag while you're a bit afraid of your soda spilling on you. But, as tragic as it may sound, it's not. It's pure fun! You interact and get more in the (Ghostbusters) movie, while some water, smoke or light fill in with the effects. While you fall down you feel it and as Spider-man, running, jumping and swinging from building to building, you feel a great sensation of being part of the cast. The other blockbuster I expected a lot from and felt a bit short of what I did was Suicide Squad. Though I enjoyed it in an IMAX 3D room, with amazing HD sound and great quality, the plot and some effects affected they're execution a little bit.
I have seen other movies I had great expectations on like Finding Dory, where nostalgia kicked in and X-Men Apocalypse, which was the one I expected the most from and failed me a bunch too. Adrenaline rushed movies like Batman vs. Superman and Civil War impressed me in a great way, though they weren't your typical pre-summer super heroe movie.

I'm not a super fan of movies but this one for sure I'm going to watch. Wonder Women is going to be in a couple of months, I'm just very excited to see how they are going to incorporate all the ideas. Basically the story will explore the character’s origin, tracking the immortal Princess Diana’s rise as a warrior on the mythic island of Themyscira and her eventual quest beyond its boundaries to the land of ordinary men, where she will fight for this outside world amid the backdrop of World War I. Hints of the movie are foreshadowed in Batman v Superman, and the Wonder Woman film will include a modern framing story set after the events of that clash of heroes, according to producer Charles Roven. I cant think of another movie right now because this one meets all the criteria and I'm pretty excited to see the results.

  4. I am a movie person; I am always ready to watch a movie when I have free time. I personally like ending my night or if I have not much to do I like to watch a movie. It can be old or new. The types of movies that I am into is suspenseful, scary, action, and full of adventure. These kinds of movies really grab my attention. Just recently a new movie just came out in theatre called “Don’t Breathe”, this movie was very suspenseful, it had my friends and I jumping out of our seats covering our faces because we just didn’t know what was to come next. When it is very hard to figure out what’s going happen, if she will survive, or if he’s going to get caught are the best ever. After the movie was finishes we came out a little shaken and frightened but overall it was a good movie. The other movie I saw was X-Men: Apocalypse. I have seen and always been a fan of the entire X-men movies so this movie I was very excited to see. I went to go watch it with my little brother and I came out the theatre happy with how it turned out. I will definitely be buying it to add to my collection. These were the only two movies I went out to the movie theater to watch and it was all worth it. It doesn’t always have to be a particular movie that ill watch it just has to get me excited and have to wonder what’s going to happen. There are still plenty new movies I still need to see. Movies are definitely one of the things I like to do when I can.

    • Well, some movies that I am looking for this next summer are The Incredible 2, Pitch Perfect 3, and Fast and Furious 8. This first one I think we are all on the same page about it. We all have been waiting for the second part of this movie since 2004. Though we have to wait for it two years more, I think it will be worth it. Pitch Perfect 3; this is one of my personal favorite movies. I love movies that has to do with singing, dancing, and if it has both of them, even better! The first one was absolutely perfect in every single way; it definitely was a great start to this trilogy. The second one was okay, the last scene when they were all the Bellas from all the time up there singing, was a very special and emotional moment, but that was it. So yeah I’m hoping to see pitch perfect 3 soon so I can have my collection complete. Lastly, Fast and Furious 8. I grew up watching these movies; we have them all on DVD and Blue Ray back home. Even though Paul Walker died and the movie won’t be the same, I still want to see it, and be able to see how they end this saga once for all.

There are several movies that I'm waiting for but the first one is Rogue one a Star Wars story because is an upcoming American epic space opera film directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy, from a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. It will be the first standalone film in the Star Wars Anthology series. The film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Rogue One is set in the Star Wars universe sometime after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and shortly before the events of the original Star Wars, centering on a group of Rebel spies on a mission to steal design schematics for the Galactic Empire's new superweapon, the Death Star. The other one is Wonder Woman is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is intended to be the fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins, written by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, from a story by Heinberg and Zack Snyder, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui and David Thewlis. In Wonder Woman, after American pilot Steve Trevor crashes on the island of Themyscira and tells her about a world war that is happening, Diana leaves her home to try to stop the war and becomes Wonder Woman. And the final is Justice League is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is intended to be the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, and Jesse Eisenberg. In Justice League, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman assemble a team consisting of The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.

  9. This summer I only saw Angry Birds, Xmen, Warcraft, Finding Dory, The Purge 3 and The Secret Life of Pets, at least those are the only ones I can remember. I love going to the movies with my partner and our daughter. I really liked all those movies, wasn’t dissapointed in any of them although I definitely think The Purge 3 was a very strong film to digest. I’ve been going more to the movies lately, but I’m very excited for Star Wars: Rogue One, our family loves everything Star Wars related. To me this upcoming movie is exciting because it’s like a spinoff, it’s in the Star Wars Universe but it’s not the same characters we’ve all been used to.

Which movies are you looking forward to this summer? Why?

I’m waiting for Underworld and Pirates of the Caribbean. I love these series so much, I’ll be watching such movies and say it line by line. I a big fan and well they are amazing movies. I don’t know what 2017 will hold, movie wise but I will try to see what will catch my eye.

  11. Not really. I like my movies as much as the next guy, but recently I’ve been seeing some problems that I find worrying. A lot of the new movies coming out, including the superhero ones, are starting to feel less creative, you could say. I’ve actually tried studying the formula of popular stories to understand why they sell better and I’m still not sure if I should be disappointed or not. For example, superhero movies are all the rage again, and why not? They’re fun, interesting, the actions scenes are amazing, the characters are lovable, but in some of the more recent ones, you tend to see a pattern. For the most part, they’re all light hearted, have a bit of drama sprinkled in, and yet somehow, the characters don’t change a lot. That’s not really my problem, but after a while, they all kind of blend together, at least with Marvel, the DC films are a whole other issue in it of themselves. Not to say that I don’t enjoy the new Marvel movies, but I’d like to have other options when going to watch a movie and not just have it be the Oscar-bait movie, the superhero movie, the action movie, the stupid romance movie, the “smart” romance movie and an often cheap “family” movie. Yes the list is not exactly short, but we don’t have a lot of creative ideas anymore. Deadpool was the last movie I remember tried to be creative with its main character while at the same time being a generic revenge story. The movies based on young adult novels are another good example of formulating a story. I’m not sure why, but all of a sudden there’s a bunch of post-apocalyptic movies starring a teenaged girl who’s just trying to survive, and it always comes down to her being part of a group of outsiders that are special in one way or the other and have to work together to take down an evil world government or something like that. At least a few of those try to be a little creative with their ideas, but even still they feel underwhelming. I mean life as we know it ends, and yet it’s as if not a whole lot’s changed other than the rules of the land. They could be so much more creative than that, but they just stick with it because it’s popular and that’s my big problem with some of the recent movies: they film what sells. I just can’t stand it when people sacrifice their ideas just to make a quick buck. I’m glad that we still get a few fun and creative movies nowadays, and it’s not like these are all terrible, but I would like to see people throw the same passion they have for a superhero movie into other genres and try to create something cool out of that. But maybe I’m just picky.

  12. Going to the movie theaters is practically an American pastime. The popcorn, the surround sound, the people who go to the theater with you. It has become a part of almost every culture and the summer is where this becomes the most apparent. Movie studios gear up the loudest, eye popping, big money hits specifically for the summer season. From superhero movies, action sequels you never asked for but got anyway, spin-offs that should have never spun, to the rare original comedy; each studio dulls out something to get you to flock to the movie theater in droves. Personally; I'm not a big movie person on a normal day. I usually only go to see things that have to do with my childhood; one of them being comic books or sci-fi related things. I can't really think of any movie that is coming out in the summer that I am hyped to see other then Guardians of the Galaxy because it's comic book related and if there are other comic book movies you will probably find me in the theater but other then that; I'm usually indifferent when it comes to movies in the theaters.

Which movies are you looking forward to this summer?

I'm actually looking forward to "Logan". As a X-Men fan and my favorite marvel Character "Wolverine" this is a much anticipated movie. Yes the comics already somewhat tell you what happens, i want to see how they will bring it all together. I've always been the person to fall in love with the cinematic artistry of cartoon and comics to become real life characters. since we are on the subject of bring things to life i am super curious as to how "Power Rangers" will be like in terms of taking something that seemed like WWE kid version to have some sort of cohesiveness cinematic storyline. i believe it will fall under the transformers category in terms of robotic graphics and explosions. Which leads into next movie i'm interested in which is "Transformers: The Last Knight". idk what they are doing and how long this series will last but honestly i don't get tired of it. I love how transformers always blows be away with the graphics its art and i like that about some movies where i just want see stuff blow up and cool robots fight each other.

I am not currently considering the movies for this summer although now that I’m asked I’m kind of curious to know. I do enjoy movies but many times I end up watching them way after everyone has seen them. I don’t go to the theater very often. In my case, it’s a matter of time. I’m usually busy with something else, either work or study. Also, my son is with me 99% of the time, which means that whatever I watch must be appropriate for him as well. So, when I do go, I end up having to watch kid’s movies because in the end that’s what he wants. When I do go, I enjoy watching fantasy-action movies. I recently went with him to the theater and he wanted to watch Moana, but we got there after the movie had started and since he had already seen it he then chooses Dr. strange. I don’t know if you guys have seen it so I’m not going to spoil it but I thought it was interesting and I liked it. It was strange, I haven’t seen many movies like it before. I saw a trailer for a movie regarding magical creatures that are inside a luggage bag that a man carries with him, I can’t remember what it’s called but my son made me watch it because he wants to see it. I might just check out what’s going to be coming out soon just in case I have time to go.

I've never really been someone who enjoys going to movies, coming from an adventist family, movie theaters were the DEVIL! consequently, the movies I would watch, would've been out long enough to watch at home on the T.V. Therefore, I never really looked forward to new movies, since I wouldn't be able to watch them anyways. Nonetheless, as I got older I was able to choose for myself. To this day I still don't get super excited to go to movies, I enjoy good movies, and I usually watch them online, either through Netflix or other sources. Now that's out of the way, I'm looking forward around 4 movies,
    1) Fast 8
    2) Thor
    3) Wonder woman
    4) Justice League
If I'm honest, I am really looking forward to Fast 8, I grew up on the movies of "Fast and Furious", and each year although, no longer a movie based on just racing and cars, they manage to find a way to incorporate awesome cars and somewhat of a decent story line; but who cares, the cars are awesome. In conclusion, I am looking forward for a couple of movies. I will most likely wait till they are released to the public before watching them.

Which movies are you looking forward to this summer? Why?
Okay, so I love watching movies. I will watch pretty much any movie genre, so I don't have a problem with being picky with movies. But I really am looking forward to seeing Wonder Woman, it looks like it's going to be a really great movie. Also, the transformers movie is something I want to watch jus because I really liked the first one when I was younger and I just have to see the sequels following up. But, I can't wait for Cars 3! I'm not even embarrassed or ashamed. I really can't wait for it, I want to take my little siblings to go watch it. My brother loved cars as a little kid, so it'll be cool to see what he thinks now.

Well one of the movies I am waiting is Underworld: Blood Wars and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. The underworld: Vampire death dealer Selene (Kate Beckinsale) continues her struggle against the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her, with both sides trying to use the blood of her and her daughter to become Vampire-Corvinus hybrids. After hiding her daughter, Selene, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), attempt to end the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, though it may cost Selene her life. Resident Evil: Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella's impending attack, this will be Alice's most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Which movies are you looking forward to this summer? Why?

I enjoy watching movies. Personally a like all kinds of movie, from terror to drama. This summer 2017 there’s going to be a lot of good movies out there. Personally the movies season this year had been pretty good. Starting with the one of the most waited movies, Suicide Squad. That movie its full of action and for me was one of the best of this year. We can mention Batman vs. Superman as well but that one for me wasn’t that good. One that gets a good feedback was The Jungle Book. It was interesting the way that they recreated it, same case like Tarzan. We are looking now for the 2017 season and it’s going to start pretty good with a lot a great premieres. We can mentions: Fifty shades darker, Lego: Batman, Wolverine, Kong: Skull island and Beauty and the beast and this one for me it’s going to be a great ticket seller. We had to mention Fast and Furious 8 that it’s the first American movie that recorded some scenes in Cuba. We also go to have the sequel of Guardians of the Galaxy and the 8th part of Star Wars. To remember our infancy there’s Toy Story 4 and for the superheroes fan, there’s Wonder woman. And personally iv'e been waiting for Pacific Rim 2 because I really like the first one.

It’s not a match for these two movies mentioned. Alice through the looking glass is not a movie that appeals much to me. I saw the original Alice and wonderland and that was the only one I want to see. It is not a story line that I care for much. The X-men, on the other hand, have a following that is growing will all generations, both young and old, they are captivated with the story lines that the silver screen has brought to life. Different characters have been a focus of different movies that have been a success in both revenue and in fan growth for the X-men series. I will be watching the Logan movie over any other. It is filled with action and with a story line that well goes back for years and was alive in the comic books. They are not just movies; they are stories that lived in many of our child hoods brought to life. It is with no doubt that I will be seeing the Logan movie or any Comic related movie coming out this Holidays and new Year’s. Ex: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Wonder Woman and Justice League.

Mjm, yes movies. I actually like movies a lot, but I don’t like all kinds of movies. The types of movie that I like are action, mystery, adventure and drama. Some of my favorite movies are the entire marvel movie collection (Marvel Cinematic Universe); but the Deadpool movie. I know marvel fansss, but I am sorry I don’t like that much the Deadpool movie. I think it was entertaining, but I don’t feel like it was that cool. Other movies that I like are the Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbits, The Pirates of the Caribbean and so many more that I won’t mention. About this summer, right now I can’t recall any movie that I am anticipating, but I do know what movies I want to see this winter’s break. One of them is Passenger. I have seen the trial and it looks like a very good movie. I forgot to mention that movies like Interstellar, Gravity and the Martian have always kept my attention. For this reason, the Passenger looks interesting but also the trailers gives you a brief summary; and for those that haven’t seen the trailer… The movie is about this two people that are aboard a space ship that is traveling to a new galaxy for humanity fresh start and this trip will take many years, for this reason the people on this trip are in some kind of hibernation, but the two main characters wake up years early and that’s it. If you want to know what’s going to happen, well you have to wait like me to see it. Finally the other movie that I what to see this winter is Collateral Beauty. It is a typical Christmas drama cliché, but it is with Will Smith so I got to see it plus Christmas isn’t Christmas if you don’t see a typical Christmas drama cliché movie.

  24. I cannot say so much, because I didn’t go to the cinema this summer I was studying the whole summer. But I can tell about the movie that I went to see recently “ Hacksaw Ridge” this movie impact me not only because the boy was an Adventist but it is because he made me aware that many times we profess to be Christians but that in many times we are not willing to serve The others and to surrender our lives completely to God.
